the second in the Quake set, the ogre.
I made a change from the in game model by giving him a sack of grenades instead of the tiny grenade launcher he has in Quake.
Btw i left the backgrounds white to mimic the old quake adverts, or so i thought. Looking back at a 10yr old CVG the ads i were thinking of, were for the first resident evil. The quake ads were just the Q symbol faintly over photos that had nothing to do with quake(like a beach scene). So i remembered half right by putting in the faint Q symbol.
(the resi evil ads were a bathtub full of blood in a white "construct" type space)
My memory must of merged the two together
Crazy brain...

I remember really hating these guys in Quake
theyre really irritating
this is the best ogre ive seen
OGRYN!? AGAINST ME!?!?
Yeah! Wow, what a graet work!!!
Brilliant, these guys still give a damn good challenge. Awesomely drawn and painted.
I like how you drew him flat on his ass, reminds me of of how he would fall back in-game when he was injured enough. I never understood how the grenade launcher was able to fire grenades that were to big to fit inside.
A sack of grenades makes more sense, using that inhuman strength to throw them
